💡 About The Role

As Ray’s founding Growth Marketer, you’ll help us build demand-generation and product-led growth, from first impression to habit-forming retention. Reporting to the CEO in our Cambridge HQ, you’ll help build the buzz that creates early adoption and run lightning-fast experiments to grow our user base.


🧠 Your focus

  • Identify growth opportunities (onboarding, activation, retention) via user interviews and analytics. 

  • Run rapid content experiments; double down on formats that outperform.

  • Source and coach creators, gyms, and wellness brands to amplify reach and trust.

  • Build dashboards (activation, retention, CAC:LTV, referral K-factor) for real-time team visibility. 

  • Plan, launch, and refine paid campaigns across TikTok, FB/IG, Apple Search, and new channels.

  • Build email, push, and in-app journeys that turn installs into daily paying users.


✅ Skills Needed

  • 3-6 years in growth marketing for a mobile or consumer subscription product.

  • Proven track record of scaling user bases profitably (show your numbers).

  • Strong copy instincts—able to translate insights into scroll-stopping headlines and emails.

  • Experience with media buying, creative testing frameworks, and funnel analytics (e.g., PostHog, SQL).

  • You thrive in early-stage environments, are adaptable, and proactive in creating structure.

  • Big bonus points if you use Ray - we live our customer journey daily.


🚀 What Success Looks Like

  • 45-Days: You’ve developed foundational analytics, shipped end-to-end experiments, and collaborated with the team to develop a roadmap for growth.

  • 90-Days: Activated Weekly Users is up, Retention is up, referral K-factor is up, and all metrics/experiments are tracked and visible to the team.

  • 6-Months: Repeatable acquisition engines that 10× active users and set us up for Series-A-level scale.
